has not been hung
for all to see
in Meydan-e Felestin square
in Tehran
Literally

Instead the
large digital clock
in the center of Persia
counting down
the minutes
till “Israel will disappear”
has been replaced
by him
Truly

His loud calls for
“elimination of the Zionist regime”
have turned
on him
Nationally

The missiles
being shot
at us
this moment
Actually

Are cause for
Divine protection
by a multi tiered
missile defense tent
Thankfully

Leaving me
in awe of the
Jewish people’s
story of resilience
and relevancy
